Sunday Blues

I wake up to soothing music,

playing endlessly in my ears,

as my mind dances along.

mood set, happy people,

in this brief gust of music.

looking through magazines,

and albums,

as memories come running through

this dancing mind of mine.

fresh as lavender and roses.

untamed smiles worn,

a warm heart tendered,

unseen dimpples now visible,

o’ these sunday blues,

where my thoughts freshly linger.
